At Oxford + Richmond we strive to strictly adhere to all requirements under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

SHARING AND PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The purpose of Oxford + Richmond collecting, using or disclosing information of a Candidate will expressly be to provide to potential future employers of the Candidate (hereinafter the “Client”) for the Client to determine if the Candidate has the requisite experience, skills, licenses, degrees, designations, etc. to fulfill the job requirements.
Oxford + Richmond will only request personal information from the Candidate that they (or the Client) deem necessary in order to assess a Candidates qualifications and suitability for the potential role.
As such and unless advised otherwise by the Candidate, Oxford + Richmond shall assume that each Candidate consents to Oxford + Richmond sharing their personal information with any Client for the purpose of determining the Candidate’s suitability for the role.
Further, and unless otherwise advised by the Candidate, Oxford + Richmond shall maintain the Candidate’s personal information on file for future roles that may become available. Notwithstanding the same, if requested by a Candidate in writing Oxford + Richmond shall destroy all records of personal information for said Candidate within a reasonable period of time.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Oxford + Richmond may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Oxford + Richmond will protect the personal information we obtain about you with appropriate safeguards and security measures. Nevertheless, due to the nature of Internet technologies, security and privacy risks cannot be eliminated and Oxford + Richmond cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Policy.
WHY WE ASK FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you are a Candidate, Oxford + Richmond will ask you for information to consider your qualifications and interest to be referred to either a specific Client, for a specific position, or to other Clients who may retain Oxford + Richmond to recruit an individual with interests and qualifications similar to the Candidate. When the Candidates provide this information Oxford + Richmond will assume that the Candidate has consented to Oxford + Richmond sharing for their information with Clients for the purpose as stated above. Please note that this consent is optional and the Candidate can decide to withdraw it at any time.
If you are a Client who has retained Oxford + Richmond to recruit Candidates for your organization, we ask you for information so that we can do a proper search and discuss your needs, expectations, organizational culture and other relevant issues with potential Candidates.
MINORS
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 19.
CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will audit our procedures and security measures regularly to ensure that they are being properly administered and that they remain effective and appropriate.
